Catherine, owner, and founder of Solid Rebuild, was inspired by her grandfather at an early age. He fostered her creativity and building abilities by introducing her to woodworking. Their first joint project was a canoe built from a branch. This captivated her by realizing nature’s abundance to be converted into something sustainable. Applying these techniques to her early career in set design and building, she learned how to creatively utilize available resources and make do with what was at hand.
